House Guests

House Guests is a format within the Forum designed to host and give visibility to projects, research, and practices present in Venice during the Biennale days.

It does not consist of public speaking slots, but rather of an active presence. House Guests are identified within the Forum, and their projects are presented on our website, creating the conditions for informal encounters, conversations, and exchanges with other participants.

The format emerges from a desire to extend the dialogue beyond the stage, opening a more distributed space in which exchange happens directly between people, through curiosity, listening, and initiative.

We invite all participants to engage with our House Guests and explore their projects and ideas.

Some of the exchanges that emerge during the Forum may be developed further as online conversations, extending the dialogue beyond Venice.

The African Art in Venice Forum is held at the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal, Piazza San Marco 1332, 30124 Venezia (entrance from Calle Vallaresso).

AAVF Foyer: Sala Vallaresso - AAVF Auditorium: Sala Corte.

The staircase from the hall on the ground floor will bring you to our Reception in Sala Oppio. The African Art in Venice Team will welcome you there.
